Drum Exams At Lewis's Drum School
- I teach the Guildhall / Trinity School of Music and also the Rockschool syllabus. These are the preferred courses for most students. They are also the most recognised courses in the music industry.
- The grades range from 1 to 8. Once we have worked through the required pieces and I feel that you are confident enough I can then enter you for your exam.
Drumming Exam Grades Explained
The first step towards taking a drum grading would be to learn the required pieces which would consist of learning rudiments and different drumming styles.
Once I feel that you are fully prepared and comfortable with the pieces i will then enter you for your grade.
The gradings take place in different examination centres around the local area.
The results will come through to me roughly 1 to 2 weeks after you have taken your grade on a nice certificate.
